Wisdom tooth extraction (surgical)
OPG / CBCT imaging, local or IV sedation.
Surgical removal of an impacted or partially-erupted wisdom tooth. We require an OPG at minimum and a CBCT for fully-impacted lower 8s to assess the inferior dental nerve. Sedation available (+PKR 18,000) with Dr. Arif Aziz on Wednesdays by prior appointment.
Follow the standard extraction aftercare. In addition:
Expect mild-to-moderate swelling, usually peaking on day 2. Cold compress on the cheek for the first 24 hours (20 min on, 20 min off) helps. From day 3, switch to warm compresses if swelling persists.
Some mild jaw stiffness and limited mouth-opening (trismus) is normal for 3–5 days.
Take the full course of any antibiotic we prescribe — do not stop early even if you feel fine.
Stitches, if placed, are self-dissolving. They come out on their own between day 7 and 14.
Return for a review 7 days after the extraction — this is included in your fee.
