Dr. Saira Rasheed
- BDS — King Edward Medical University, Lahore (2012)
- MSc Restorative Dentistry — University of Manchester (2016)
- Member, Royal College of Surgeons (MFGDP UK)
Dr. Saira spent ten years in the UK's NHS after completing her MSc in Manchester, working at a teaching hospital in Cheshire and then in private aesthetic practice in Manchester's Deansgate. She returned to Islamabad in 2019 to open SmilePlus because her mother — a teacher at Islamabad Convent — kept asking her when she was coming home.
Her clinical focus is restorative and cosmetic: she takes on the complex cases (heavily worn dentition, multiple failed restorations, full-mouth aesthetic work) and leaves the straightforward scaling, fillings, and paediatric work to Dr. Maham. She will refuse a veneer case if she believes bleaching or orthodontics would serve the patient better — patients frequently mention this on reviews.
Outside the clinic she teaches a weekend elective on composite layering at Islamabad Medical and Dental College and maintains a small case-study library at manchestersmile.co.uk/blog (pre-return work; read-only).
